I aim to help you feel lighter, healthier and fully confident in your skin.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

After your Manual Lymphatic Drainage treatment, you may notice an immediate feeling of relaxation, lightness, and improved comfort. Many clients also experience reduced swelling and enhanced mobility. It is normal to feel thirstier, urinate more frequently, or experience mild fatigue as your body processes excess fluid.

To maximise your results, we recommend:

Stay Hydrated – Drink plenty of water to support lymphatic circulation.Limit Salt & Alcohol – Reduce sodium and alcohol intake to help minimise fluid retention.Keep Moving – Gentle activity, such as walking, encourages healthy lymphatic flow.Rest if Needed – Allow your body time to recover, especially if you feel tired after treatment.

Following these simple aftercare guidelines will help support your recovery and prolong the benefits of your treatment.

Lymphatic node

Lymph nodes are typically no larger than a kidney bean, ranging from 2 mm to 2.5 mm in diameter when healthy. They are distributed throughout the body, numbering anywhere from 500 to 800, and are located near veins in adipose or fat tissues.

Lymph nodes serve as meeting points where bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens encounter immune cells. This interaction enables the body to mount a crucial immune response, helping to defend against infections effectively.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle technique designed to stimulate the flow of lymph
fluid throughout the body. It involves light, rhythmic movements that help reduce swelling, remove toxins, and improve overall lymphatic circulation. It supports immune function and promotes healing.

Kansa Wand

The versatile Kansa Wand offers more than just pH balance. It purifies toxins, promotes lymphatic drainage, alleviates stress and muscle tension, improves circulation, and enhances skin complexion and glow. Experience a holistic rejuvenation with the multifunctional benefits of the Kansa Wand.

Why No Oil?

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) uses the internationally recognised Dr. Emil Vodder Method, a specialised technique performed with slow, gentle, rhythmic movements. The lymphatic system is a network of delicate vessels located just beneath the surface of the skin, so only the lightest touch is needed to stimulate its natural flow. No oil is used because MLD relies on precise skin-stretching movements to activate the lymphatic vessels—oil would reduce the effectiveness of these specialised techniques. By encouraging healthy lymph flow, MLD helps reduce swelling (oedema), ease discomfort, support the body’s natural healing processes, and promote a deep sense of relaxation and wellbeing.
